If approved, a visible “Verified” badge appears on your profile for other members to see.
Verification confirms the details we are able to check. It does not guarantee a member's character, compatibility, safety or the outcome of any marriage. Always involve your family and exercise your own judgement.
What gets verified?
Profile authenticity
That the profile is operated by the person it describes.
Declared details
Selected declared details such as marital status, city and education, where documentation is provided.
Contactability
A working phone number and email address under the member's control.
We do not perform background checks, police checks or government database lookups, and we make no claim to do so.
Verification eligibility
- Your profile is complete and your account is at least 18 years old by date of birth.
- You can provide one accepted identity document showing your name and date of birth.
- The details on the document match the details on your profile.
- Documents are legible, unexpired and submitted by the profile owner or an authorised wali.
- One free verification per member; re-verification after major profile changes may be chargeable.
